10/06/24: SPOTTED AS FOR SALE. 26/08/24: CAMPSITE STILL IN OPERATION, BUT PUB APPEARS TO HAVE CEASED TRADING. Privately owned ex-Lacons inn and restaurant on the outskirts of town, which has been under new ownership since November 2021 and re-opened for Easter 2022. As of July 2019 a campsite has been available at the rear of the pub with hard standing touring caravan pitches and some grass camping pitches. The venue is adults only so no children under 14 years of age are allowed in the pub or on the camp site.
