Following a vote to disaffiliate from the Royal British Legion, the social club was been re-named the Fox & Hounds Social Club in reference to the pub's original name in the 17th Century.

In 2026 the Fox & Hounds Social Club became a Community Benefit Society and was changed from a private members club into a pub. See the pub's entry here.
